Is it a sloth? Is it a bear? They’re sloth bears! Come join a Behind the Scenes Interpreter to learn about our sloth bears and what it takes to care for them! Tour the sloth bear building then witness their powerful suction as they slurp up some food!

Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are required for all guests ages 2 and older
1. Select the number of guests in your group. Fresno County Residents must show proof of Fresno County residency at zoo entrance.
2. Select the date of your Behind the Scenes encounter.
3. Select the time for your visit. The time selected reflects the time of the program. Sloth Bear Necessities includes admission to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo during general admission hours.
All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
