Have you ever wondered what it’s like to care for an African elephant? On this tour guests will have the opportunity to discover the ins and outs of daily elephant care while touring our elephant house. After being driven to the elephant house, guests will even have the opportunity to watch an exclusive elephant training session and toss the elephants some of their favorite treats!
*While the calves will be behind the scenes during this experience, there will be no interaction with them.

- Program for 45 minutes (3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.)
- 30 minutes in the elephant barn

Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are required for all guests ages 12 and older
- Select the number of guests in your group. Fresno County Residents must show proof of Fresno County residency at zoo entrance.
- Select the date of your Behind the Scenes encounter.
- Select the time for your visit. The time selected reflects the time of the program. Trunk Time includes admission to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo during general admission hours.
