Team Parrot
Our Bird Show Team cares for our feathered friends who star in our Winged Wonders Bird Show.
Team Elephant
Our Tembo Team cares for our largest residents at the Zoo, our five African Elephants! They also care for our slender-horned gazelle and warthogs.
Team Goat
Our Animal Ambassador Team cares for a wide variety of animals including reptiles, birds, amphibians, mammals, and more! They are the team you see throughout the Zoo at pop-up animal experiences.
Team Giraffe
The Twiga team cares for not only the tallest residents at the Zoo, our giraffes, but also the fastest, our cheetahs. They care for most of our ungulates including wildebeest, kudu, elands, and impala. They also care for our white rhinos, ostriches, and pelicans. Together they make up our iconic savanna in African Adventure.
Team Harbor Seal
Pinnipeds galore! Our Sea Lion Cove team not only cares for our sea lions and seals, but they also care for our giant anteaters and ring-tailed lemurs.
Team Nurse Shark
Raise a fin for the Life Support Systems Team! This team cares for over 3,000 fish including the stingrays and sharks of Stingray Bay while also maintaining the water quality in habitats across the Zoo.
Team Hospital
The Hospital Team is the Zoo’s welcoming committee, caring for any new animal that arrives at the Zoo while it completes its quarantine. Sometimes an animal not feeling its best will also stay at our Hospital for special care.
Team Rhinoceros Hornbill
South America and beyond! Our South America Team cares for nearly 200 animals including the birds across our multiple aviaries from the critically endangered Bali myna to the awe-inspiring Rhinoceros hornbill.
Team Lion
Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my! Our Asia Central Team cares for the mammals in Kingdoms of Asia along with the lions, meerkats, and many of the primates that call the Zoo home.
Team Gray's Monitor
Snakes, turtles, and frogs, oh my! Our Asia West Team cares for all the animals in the Reptile House along with our large reptiles throughout the Zoo including Knobby the Galapagos tortoise and Besar the Sunda gharial.
